It is working very well. No crashes thus far, all unlock methods work, and caller ID works great, even with the OEM dialer.

Only thing I seem to not have working is haptic feedback. This is a very solid release and definitely recommend it.

JD & Jim I just have to say that this is a nice release.
Haven´t tried the call handling, just been browsing the features.
Found two minor bug.
1) In Design->Layout and Background. When selected the screen rotates.
2) If you choose 'Select language...' the program crashes. (well it is probable only available in english)

1. Its correct, and then opens the Layuout Designer which is landscape.
2. Can you post the error?

I found two bugs.
The first is that one of my registrations is not working (the first one that i bought) but i don't think that it depends on the program so that's more of an general issue than a bug.

The second problem is when i use the light sensor but i don't know if that has been implemented yet.
The phone doesn't lock itself. If i press the power key the phone still enables with it or any other button on the front of the phone and PS is disabled. That includes clicking on lock.

The third thing is motion sensing. It didn't work when i enabled it because i had the motion sensing set to manual. Then i swithched it to automatic an PS worked. And when i went into motion sensing settings the option was set to manual again. Is PS ment to do that or is it a bug?

Other than that the app works brilliantly.

The only way to lock is by power off and by calling pocketshield.exe. There is no "lock with dark" option.
About gsensor, I have tried both motion settings and works. Make sure you uninstalled the HTC emulator, and also take a look at the gesture instructions:

Side to side movement

Instructions:
- Face screen up (Certain tilt degree is allowed but shall not exceed of 45° relative to the horizon).
- Move to side and return back to same position, 2 consecutive times.
- Hand should travel about 20cm to the side you choose.
- All must be done within a time frame of aprox 1.5 secs.

Sensitivity level is customizable.

See a video here.

Flip (face down - face up)

Instructions:
- Face screen up.
- Face screen it down (180°) and then return to start position.
- All must be done within a time frame of aprox 1.5 secs.

See a video here.

I disabled HTC emulator but the problem was as explained in the edit below...

My setting was set to manual and it didn't work untill i set it to auto and PS changed the setting back to manual. And that made it work. That's why i wanted to know if it's a feature or a bug. Because some people use auto rotation.

Must be something with your device because tests work both in Automatic and Manual. PS does not change that configuration either, it just reads what the gsensor measures.

Odd. But it could very well be because i have a lot of addons. I'll try the other phone and will see what will happen.

On a Samsung i910 Omnia (Verizon CDMA) with stock ROM, I get the following message:

"Your ROM language may not allow the correct call handling. Please contact support."

Also, none of the text next to any of the check boxes on the settings screens are visible at all. It's as though there a black font on a black background.

It is known that Wisbar causes this. You use that?

For the warning message, please go to (A)-->+-->Support and Contact and send the issue from there.

1.0.0.9

- Fixed: Possible flickering on incoming call if using Omnia dialer. If the case, go to settings and "Save" (after installing .9)
- Added: phone icons to answer/ignore slider

Yes, I was using Wisbar. Shutting it down fixed the problem.

I've submitted the ROM warning message as you requested.

Thanks.

I haven't experienced any flickering but i have a problem when i use samsung's dialer. Sometimes i don't get the PS slide to answer option but the winmo default call notification popup at the bottom but i don't see the popup only the accept and ignore softkeys. It's about 50/50 chance when i get the call. And this happens on both phones.

Soft reset fixes it?
Re: VERSION 1.0 BETA
March 14, 2009 01:06PM
I have tryed but it didn't work. I had to soft reset anyway because i changed from default windows dialer to samsung's dialer. I'll try the new version ad we'll se if that fixes my problem.

Edit: I still have problems with the newest version. I had 3 calls and it worked on 2 of them but not on the last one. I just had a black screen with accept and ignore softkeys.
And i noticed that diable hardware keys don't work on both phones. All three front buttons wake the phone up.

When will the light sensor work?

bpivk,

The light sensor has worked for me ever since 1.0.0.7. Did you calibrate it using the "..." next to it?

Re: VERSION 1.0 BETA
March 14, 2009 05:59PM
Yes i did and it worked but the phone went locking and disabling the screen even when i used it on random. So i just taught that it's not working yet. Even the calibration was hard to do because i couldn't find a room that had 200 lumens. I had to place the phone near the light and then it locked itself so i had to unlock the phone and then put it in the case. Now the phone shows the circle with 4 colours like it's working something ad it has been doing that for about 5 minutes.

I moved the issue to a new topic.

On the light calibration screen, if you cover the light sensor which values show at the bottom?
Then, power off and then on and see if the value changes or has any peak.

115 when on light. The room has 4 halogenic bulbs so there's lots of lighting.
0 when covered. The phone averages from 115 to 150 lumens it reaches 200 only under direct light (my bathroom grinning smiley) or on a sunny day. It was hard to configure it but it's ok now.
